Sales & Use Tax Remittance Outside of Washington State

Withholding Sales Tax

Wanderlust Nursery does not withhold sales or use tax on orders shipped outside of Washington State except in circumstances in which it is required to do so. In some states, your purchase may not be exempt from sales or use tax solely because it was made online or by other remote means. As the buyer, you may be required to pay tax on your purchase, depending on circumstance.

Reporting

In order to comply with current and future ‘Notice & Report Laws’ that vary by state, Wanderlust Nursery will provide an annual report to all customers who purchase more than $500.00 of products from us per calendar year, which will be provided no later than January 31st of the year following the purchase. This “Annual Purchase Summary” will be sent by mail to the shipping address provided at the time of purchase. In states where Wanderlust Nursery meets total gross sales thresholds defined by that state, Wanderlust Nursery will also provide a copy of this “Annual Purchase Summary” to the respective state Department of Revenue.
