Beaked Yucca is a striking, evergreen species native to the deserts of northern Mexico, prized for its architectural form and exceptional drought tolerance. This hardy yYucca sports a dense, spherical crown of narrow silver leaves that that radiate outward from a stout trunk. With age, plants will produce showy spikes of cream colored flowers, similar to many Yucca species. The selection ‘Sapphire Skies’ is a Sean Hogan introduction.

Beaked Yucca can grow to fifteen feet in the wild, but in garden settings it is often seen reaching about eight feet high and wide. Plants prefers full sun and well draining soil, tolerating both extreme summer heat and winter cold.
