Flowering Maple
Abutilon × hybridum
Flowering Maples are a large group of interspecific hybrid plants cultivated as garden ornamentals. These hybrids are the result of crossing various species within the Abutilon genus and they have attractive, maple-like leaves and showy, bell-shaped flowers that come in a wide range of colors including red, orange, yellow, pink, and white. Flowering Maples are especially useful in the garden as they are compact, evergreen, and bloom all season long. We think they make a wonderful companion to Fuchsia.
While typically growing up to five feet high and three feet wide, Flowering Maples are easy to prune to size. Plants bloom prolifically from spring through fall and perform equally well in containers as they do in the landscape. Flowering Maples prefer full or part sun and appreciate regular watering.
Cold hardy to USDA Zone 8a or to 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
For sale are 1 gallon potted plants
