Grevillea 'Penola'

$33.00

Grevillea lavandulacea ‘Penola’

Grevillea ‘Penola’ is an upright, evergreen shrub native to Southeastern Australia. Like other Grevillea it is grown for its ease-of-care, attractive foliage, and striking display of spidery, vivid pink flowers. This selection has a dense, mounding habit with fine, needle-like foliage that give the plant a feathery texture. As a winter-blooming plant, ‘Penola‘ is a great nectar plant for hummingbirds and other pollinators.

Plants grow to five feet high and wide, are drought tolerant once established, and perform well in poor soils, so long as they are well-draining. Unlike many Grevillea, ‘Penola’ tolerates cool, wet winters and moderate frosts. We recommend full sun, low water, and no fertilizer with phosphorous.

Cold hardy to USDA Zone 9a or to 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

For sale are one gallon potted plants
