Australian Fuchsia, also known simply as Correa, is a group of species of evergreen flowering shrubs native to southern Australia. ‘Dusky Bells’ is a hybrid between Correa pulchella and Correa reflexa which features showy red flowers and a low-growing habit. This selection of Australian Fuchsia is one of the more cold hardy selections and is quite reliable in the garden. Plants have attractive velvety, grey foliage and dense habit, featuring red bell-shaped flowers from winter through spring.

Australian Fuchsia performs best in full or part sun and with occasional watering. ‘Dusky Bells’ grows to reach about two feet high and four feet wide with time and with a dense habit. Plants are drought tolerant once established and are adaptable to different soil types.

Cold hardy to USDA Zone 9a or to 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
