Siebold's Wood Fern

from $12.00
sale

Dryopteris sieboldii

Siebold's Wood Fern, also known as the Japanese wood fern, is an evergreen fern native to Japan and southern China. Siebold’s Wood Fern is notable for its elegant, arching fronds that have broad leaf segments that give the plant a distinctly tropical look. Plants are drought tolerant and appreciate part to full shade. Did someone say houseplant?

Siebold’s Wood Fern is native to moist woodlands but is adaptable to a variety of soil types. Plants slowly spread in a creeping habit and make a wonderful addition to the shade garden as a specimen or in a group planting. Plan on three feet high by three feet wide in time.

Cold hardy to USDA Zone 7b or to 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
