Soursop

$5.00

Annona muricata

The Soursop, also known as the Guanabana, is a tropical evergreen fruit tree native to Central and South America. While related to the South American Cherimoya and the North American Pawpaw, the Soursop has a unique flavor all its own. Fruit is very large, soft and creamy, and has flavors reminiscent of coconut, pear, and pineapple. Soursop is an exquisite fruit that is appreciated fresh or prepared in juices, shakes, and sorbets.

With large, glossy leaves, the Soursop tree is also very ornamental. Being native to the tropics, Soursop is not particularly cold tolerant and is best grown in frost-free conditions. Trees are quite easy to care for and quick growing, adaptable to different soil types and conditions, and are otherwise forgiving. Trees appreciate consistent moisture.

Cold hard to USDA zone 10b, or to 35 degrees Fahrenheit.

For sale are packets of 8 dried seeds
