Thimbleberry
Rubus parviflorus
Thimbleberry is a deciduous raspberry species native to the Pacific Northwest of North America, from Alaska through northern California and east to the Rocky Mountains. Just like many raspberry species, Thimbleberry produces an edible fruit that’s a sweet summer treat. However, unlike many raspberries, this plant is completely spineless and prickle-less. Plants have attractive, maple-like leaves and large white flowers, which bloom in late spring to early summer.
Thimbleberry is easy to grow and appreciates full or part sun and regular moisture. Plants will gently spread with time to form a small patch.
Cold hardy to USDA zone 4a or to -30 degrees Fahrenheit.
For sale are 1 gallon potted plants
