Cyclamen coum ‘Pewter Leaf Form’

Hardy Cyclamen is a flowering perennial species native to eastern Europe and western Asia. This compact groundcover is indispensable for brightening up the garden with its ornamental foliage and showy winter blooms. It forms a low mound of rounded, pewter leaves with purple undersides and stems. From late autumn onward, Hardy Cyclamen produces delicate, nodding flowers held above the foliage on slender stems. The blooms vary from shades of pink, magenta, or white.

Hardy Cyclamen thrives in shade or partial shade and prefers well-drained soil, making it ideal for underplanting shrubs. These plants are durable and long-lived, and will gently clump and spread with time. Note that Hardy Cyclamen is summer deciduous, going dormant to a tuber during the warm months and emerging in early fall.
